Thoughtful psychotherapy for the woman ready to pause, reset, and create a life that feels truly her own.
How I Work….
As an Integrative Psychotherapist, I can draw on different therapeutic approaches and adapt the way I work depending on who you are and what has brought you to therapy.
I believe that you should have a voice in your therapy.
I’m not there to tell you what you should do or give you all the answers. My role is to create a safe, supportive space where we can explore what is happening for you and help you develop a better understanding of yourself.
One area I particularly focus on is emotional regulation and overwhelm.
Life can sometimes feel like we are constantly holding everything together until suddenly we can’t.
Together, we can explore what sits underneath that overwhelm, what might be contributing to it and what can help you feel more grounded and able to cope when things feel too much.
But therapy isn’t just about coping.
For me, it is also about asking:
What would make your life feel better?
What do you need more of?
What do you need less of?
And perhaps most importantly — what do you want now?
You don’t have to wait until everything falls apart.
You don’t need to be in crisis to come to therapy.
Maybe you’re feeling anxious or overwhelmed.
Maybe your relationship has changed.
Maybe you’re struggling with the transition into a different stage of family life.
Maybe you’ve spent years looking after everyone else and have realised that you don’t really know what you want for yourself anymore.
Or perhaps you simply have a sense that something needs to change.
Whatever has brought you here, therapy can give you the opportunity to stop for a moment.
To put yourself back on the list.
To understand where you’ve been.
And to start thinking about where you want to go next.
Your midlife doesn’t have to be about looking back at what you’ve lost. It can be about discovering what is still possible.
If you think therapy could help, you can book a free 20-minute telephone consultation. We can talk about what is going on for you, what you are hoping to get from therapy and whether I feel like the right person to support you.
